Other Skills

Below are a range of other, more specific skills utilised within design projects & modules at university. These include UX wireframe designs, sustainability tools and more.

Keyshot
Renders

Opposite are some examples of the transformation that occurs between a Keyshot produced render and it's context within some of my presentation materials.  [Years 3 & 4, 2020 & 2022]

Sustainability Tools

As part of an EV Charging Unit design project centred around sustainability, concepts and materials were compared in CES Material Selector & Solidworks' Sustainability tool. This helped to analyse which variables had the least environmental impact, whilst still creating a viable design.    [Year 3, 2020]

Empathy
Studies

Cutlery Project- Research Ideation & Concept - Copy-1.jpg

Empathy study for an Accessible Cutlery design project for those with limited dexterity. Items and actions were tested over 24 hours [whilst having my hands taped up to mimic limited dexterity] to try and understand the issues the user faces. This helped to inform dimensions and form of the designs, so that they helped alleviate user issues. [Year 3, 2021]

UX Design Process

Part of a UX design group project on a Home Activity Hub Screen. Wireframes were created, refined by combining group designs and then analysed against user needs through a layout analysis. Other processes like first click tests and questionnaires were also utilsied. [Year 3, 2021]
