Within the third year Tassimo Pod Holder project, we were required to produce a detailed part that was fully suitable for injection moulded manufacture- through it being fully costed and analysed for success of fill / performance in the real world [i.e. FEA analysis].

The following are the two analysis methods [completed in Solidworks] of the holder design.
Tassimo Pod Holder Mould Analysis
Various mould flow analysis techniques performed on the pod holder in order to validate its suitability for production, and potential design revisions required. [Year 3, 2020]
Tassimo Pod Holder F.E.A
FEA performed on the Tassimo Pod Holder to determine its durability. Drop tests, stacking/lifting of the holders and pod ingress/egress were simulated within Solidworks. Results then helped to come up with design alterations which would improve the holder further. [Year 3, 2020]
